Job Description

Do you have solid architectural experience and enjoy working on large-scale projects? The person who will occupy this role will evolve within attractive projects, enjoying excellent visibility in the market. In a transdisciplinary environment that encourages the development of skills, this person will have the opportunity to highlight both their technical skills and their ability to coordinate work.

 

How you will make an impact

  • Produce and revise technical documents and shop drawings in Revit;
  • Establish a modeling strategy;
  • Search for documentation relating to existing buildings (plans, reports, etc.);
  • Contribute to the preparation of the construction and development cost estimate;
  • Prepare the documentation required by the client;
  • Synchronize the production of plans and specifications as well as construction details;
  • Research and select construction products, materials, techniques and technologies;
  • Coordinate the realization of the project with the stakeholders (engineers);
  • Monitor site work in accordance with the contractual documents;
  • Administer the contractor's contract;
  • Check shop drawings;
  • Prepare notices of change and manage their negotiation;
  • Carry out correspondence relating to construction work;
  • Write minutes of site meetings as well as those held with the owner;
  • Verify payment requests and the issuance of payment certificates;
  • Make recommendations to the owner regarding the issuance of notices of provisional and final acceptance of the work.

What will set you apart

  •  College diploma or bachelor's degree in architecture;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in site supervision;
  • Very good knowledge of Revit software;
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp software;
  • Good understanding of BIM issues in architecture;
  • Rigor and professionalism;
  • Ability to work in a team while demonstrating autonomy and initiative
  • Curious and creative in finding solutions;
  • Ability to manage work to tight deadlines.
