  • Location: Glasgow (with commutable distance to our studio in Glasgow City Centre) - This role will be predominantly Home Based.
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Salary: £28,000 - £34,000

Job Description

Snook has gone through a rapid period of growth and we are looking to grow our capacity within our new business team. The NBD Manager’s role will be integral to the smooth and efficient running of the company’s new business development process and contribute to both our revenue and social targets.

The role sits within the NBD team and reports to the Head of NBD providing key elements of practical support towards the company’s new business strategy, in addition to providing support to the wider team with bid and proposal development.
 

We’re looking for an Bid Manager who can:

  • Monitor and manage the flow of incoming new business opportunities to ensure that the information is scored, tracked, stored and shared across the business
  • Manage the internal bidding processes, facilitating meetings, maintaining and tracking opportunities through the internal New Business Development (NBD) process, sourcing and creating bid content and scheduling pitch-prep sessions.
  • Manage our knowledge-management activities which enhance future bidding activities, e.g. gathering of core bid content, organise the bid resource library of case studies and CVs and arranging post bid retros
  • Liaise with our legal team to ensure all bids have been reviewed and contractually agreements are in line with process

Qualifications

We’d like to hear from you if you have any of these skills or experiences:

  • 5+ years experience of new business development and/or fundraising
  • Understanding and experience of knowledge management systems and processes
  • Understanding of how to build budgets for competitive bidding
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritise across a diverse range of workstreams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident with technology and engaging at length with people remotely and sensitively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Able to hit the ground running
