Welcome to our Airport Automation team
You become part of BEUMER Group as you join our great Airport Automation team in the Airport Projects Engineering department in Aarhus. We develop and maintain products and automation solutions for our airport baggage handling systems.

You will be the project manager for the team taking responsibility for the Automation deliveries on several projects simultaneously.

Managing your projects
As an automation project manager, you will report to the Automation Team Manager. You will be responsible for the daily planning and execution of automation projects in close cooperation with the overall project management of the complete system solution. The automation project team size will vary from project to project and complexity.  

Your tasks include:

• Planning and execution of automation projects in alignment with the overall project management
• Estimating task and cost to complete on active projects in our monthly resource planning together with the Team Manager
• Managing project scopes and change orders
• Supporting sales on new projects, and supporting your team with strong technical guidance
• Participating in specification work and reviews
• Driving scrum meetings during product development
• Technical sparring with the project members

A strong automation background with a dedication to project management
You have a strong experience in managing automation projects. You are focused on the delivery of high-quality automation software and tough deadlines. You achieve this through a strong overview of your projects, close interaction and clear agreements/communication with your stakeholders. However, a key driver to your success is based on your desire to work with people as well as projects. As the project manager you are driven towards developing, guiding and motivating the team to perform on each project.

Moreover, you:

• Have a strong technical background with a degree in automation, and preferably experience with Siemens TIA platform
• A quick learner, who easily gets an overview of complex systems
• Have experience being part of large international system integration projects 
• Have an understanding of product development within automation
• Speak and write English at a high level
