In your role as a Chief of Staff to the CTO (m/f/d), you will be instrumental in helping us scale the product & engineering organization while staying efficient. You will be part of the product & engineering leadership team and help keep the team organized while driving transformational projects for the organisation.

Job Description

  • Create a structure for the CTO to improve visibility and accountability with their direct reports.
  • Manage weekly staff meetings, including setting the agenda and providing insights and analysis to inform strategic conversations.
  • Organize and determine the program for monthly and quarterly strategic staff meetings including offsites with the Product & Engineering Leadership Team.
  • Document and communicate decisions and action items from meetings. Ensure follow-up and closure of action items to increase accountability.
  • Maintain and foster a close partnership with other departments, collaborating effectively on strategic initiatives.
  • Own the Budget planning and tracking for the product & engineering organisation in close collaboration with the leadership team and supporting functions like finance and accounting.
  • Curate the Product & Engineering All-Hands Meetings and ensure content and topics are relevant for the wider organization.
  • Drive special projects around the Product & Engineering Organization that help transform the fast-growing organization.
  • Manage the organization's vendor relationships including contract negotiations, SaaS adoption and spending in close collaboration with the procurement team.
  • Consult and partner with People Business partners on strategic People-related initiatives, challenges, and goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in and supporting global Engineering teams of 100+ people
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results with little supervision. This means you are results-oriented; driven and self-motivated with strong initiative.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and build scalable processes.
  • Comfort working in a high-growth, constantly changing environment.
  • Proven experience in running complex organizational projects and reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with a broad set of stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Concise written and verbal communication.
