The Carpenter at KVH will be responsible for performing evaluation, demolition, set-up fabrication and installation of commercial interior construction systems, projects and repairs.  Typical work will include the installation and maintenance of walls, rails, windows & window coverings, wall-mounted equipment (hand sanitizers, white boards, etc.), doors, jambs, locks, and various plastic laminates.  KVH also maintains a small set of homes that this position will be primarily responsible for maintenance and tenant improvement projects such as painting and patching.  The Carpenter will also coordinate and assist with moving equipment and furniture to support KVH projects. 

What is required...

• At least five years of previous experience in construction or as building maintenance

Wage:    Wage range start at $20.42/hour. Actual compensation will be based on years' of applicable experience. 

FTE:   1.0 = 40 hours/week

Union Status:  This is a non-union covered position.
