Job Description

The Sr. Strategic planner is a creative-thinking strategist who ​​works with Planning Directors to help define overall vision on a business and is responsible for the creation, management and implementation of day-to-day strategic initiatives on their accounts.

Responsibilities

You will be working alongside an Associate or Planning Director on the crafting of the creative brief and the strategy for your clients and will be expected to provide clear and persuasive briefing to creatives with a especial emphasis on comms planning.

  • Work closely with account leadership and creative throughout the campaign development process to help guide strategy and messaging during the ideation process.
  • Recommends and implements research that will aid in the consumer insight gathering and strategic process. Inclusive of the development and proposal of research design, screeners, discussion guides, and/or survey panel questionnaires.
  • Be knowledgeable in different -traditional and innovative- Qualitative and Quantitative Techniques.
  • Develops accurate and insightful conclusions from research data, syndicated tools, consumer trends and behaviors and presents internally and/or to the client.
  • Monitors and interprets cultural and social trends relevant to the client’s business.
  • Guides campaign messaging architecture to help ideas come to life in the best possible way by integrating and understanding all touchpoints - Television, Radio, Digital, Social and Experiential advertising.
  • Employs data analytic tools to track and optimize.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of agency experience.
  • Be passionate about our job and our client's business.
  • Skilled at gathering, analyzing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data and social listening.
  • Creative-thinking strategist who has a deep understanding of traditional and digital media channels, camping architecture and comms frameworks.
  • Highly analytical employing syndicated tools like Simmons and other marketing tools.
  • Experience in the Hispanic market or with multicultural segments is a must.
  • You are (preferable) Bilingual English/ Spanish.
  • Experience on Digital and/or Comms planning roles a plus.
  • You are excited passionate about being in-step with Today’s America marketplace - as its 
beliefs, technologies, communities and ethnographic landscapes shift.
  • Resourceful, conceptual, visual and with exceptional writing skills.
  • A storyteller and good presenter that creates compelling cases that win the confidence of colleges and clients.
  • A collaborative team player who can demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude towards a fast-paced environment.
