Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Analyst who will proactively provide insights to drive strategy and optimize business outcomes for clients in the financial industry. The insights will drive optimizations in creative executions, paid media channels, audience targeting and valuation, owned and earned media channels, and investment levels.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Deliver insights to clients and partners through regular reporting cadence
  • Demonstrate analytical curiosity to explain the “why” behind the business outcomes
  • Oversee data collection, aggregation, and segmentation across disparate data sets and partner agencies
  • Ensure data collection and taxonomy standards are met for sources including, but not limited to, paid, earned, and owned media as well as 3rd party syndicated sources
  • Interface regularly with strategic partners to form recommendations
  • Field ad hoc requests from clients to explain data anomalies, deliver one-off data pulls, or create unique data visualizations
  • Meet regularly with client and partner organizations as the data and insights subject matter expert
  • Work in a fast-paced and growth-focused environment while delivering high quality, accurate, and actionable deliverables

Here's what we're looking for:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience with the following technologies/concepts
  • Experience manipulating data using SQL a plus
  • Basic understanding of relational data properties and how to manipulate/clean data
  • Visualizing data and creating dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or comparable tool
  • Working knowledge of tag management platforms
  • Google Analytics or comparable web analytics tool
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail
  • Strong communications skills (both external and internal)
  • The ability to explain complex mathematical concepts to less data-savvy stakeholders
  • Ability to handle client presentations articulately and professionally
  • Ability to derive actionable and strategic insights from large sets of data with minimal oversight
  • Knows the difference between facts/figures, analysis, insights, and recommendations
  • Highly proficient at Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with multivariate consumer and business segmentation
  • Understanding of paid, earned, and owned media platforms like Campaign Manager, Adobe Analytics, LiveRamp, etc.
  • Execution or understanding of core analytics methodologies (regression, cluster analysis, factor analysis, and decision trees)
  • Experience developing reports and analyses from a variety of different sources: email, social, CRM, paid search, SEO, Direct Mail, demand data
