We are a fast paced, manufacturer and installer of granite, quartz, laminate, and solid surface countertops. We are looking for experienced countertop installers for our Cranberry Township (aka Pittsburgh) location. You’ll get to deliver and install our high-quality countertops in various locations, including customer homes and other businesses. We make it as easy as possible to get our crews on the road each day, having the A-frames read to be loaded on the trucks when our crews are ready to leave.

This vacancy is geared toward seasoned professionals who will serve as Lead Install Technicians at Classic Rock. We are developing a career path and training program for our Install teams, and this position has the potential for promotion to Master Install Technician.  Pay ranges anywhere from $22 per hour and upward, depending on experience and skill level.

The average workday is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. until work the completed. We aim for 40-hour work weeks, but overtime is sometimes required. Weekend work is available on occasion.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 1 or 2 for countertop installers.
  • Furnish tools, materials, and supplies to other workers.
  • Perform intricate work and repairs as needed.
  • Maintain safety protocols.
  • Ensure job site is neat and organized during installation and cleaned to company standards upon completion.
  • Track all equipment and supplies.
  • Offer unparalleled customer service experience during installations.
  • Provide input and resources for the evaluation of the installation plan, and make necessary adjustments to materials to complete the job as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of previous experience in the countertop industry required. Other construction related experience and vocational training is a plus.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clear driving record and pass a PA DOT medical physical. *Those who cannot drive receive $2 less per hour
  • Familiarity with the maintenance and operation of tools and equipment
  • Must be able to stand; walk; push; bend; grasp; reach; and perform repetitive wrist, hand or finger movements
  • Ability to handle heavy materials - lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing 150+ pounds
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, lift, squat, and stand for long periods of time
  • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Highly skilled in judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Work extended hours as needed to complete installations

If offer of employment is extended, it will be contingent upon successful clearance of a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check. Our installers are preferred to pass DOT physical and will be subject to the random drug testing program.
