Recent years have changed our lives dramatically, but one thing remains the same, our clients still need quality care and support given by our wonderful team of CAREGivers who are driven to make a real difference to people’s lives within their own homes.

Our CAREGivers give much needed reassurance, guidance, and friendship. Supporting local older adults with everyday tasks, but more importantly being a companion during these troubling times. We step in when family and friends aren’t able too, our CAREGivers visit our clients regularly, with each visit being a minimum of 1 hour providing person centred care built on trust and friendship.

Job Description

Companionship Care

  • Offering companionship & conversation
  • Assist with appointments.
  • Help with reading.
  • Participate in interests & Hobbies.
  • Monitor diet & eating.
  • Accompany to lunch or dinner.
  • Attend plays, concerts, or clubs. 

Home Help

  • Light housekeeping
  • Dusting & vacuuming
  • Washing & Ironing
  • Making beds & change bed linen
  • Help with general shopping.
  • Meal preparation
  • Oversee home deliveries.
  • Assist with pet care.
  • Collect prescriptions.

Personal Care

  • Help with bathing/washing.
  • Assist with dressing.
  • Help with incontinence care.
  • Assist with eating.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Assist with morning/wake up routines.
  • Assist with evening & bedtime routines.

Additional Information

By joining our growing team, you will receive:

  • £10.50 - £11.00 per hour plus paid mileage
  • You will visit a small group of clients at the same times every week.

Are there any essential requirements?

  • Availability to work alternate weekends.
  • Must have a means of transport whilst clients are predominately cared for in their own homes, they would like you to accompany them on appointments or outings and can live in remote areas.
  • You will need to enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
