We are a certified partner for Microsoft Dynamics and enabling technologies as well as a Cloud Solution Provider. We have operations in North America, Central America, and Asia - Pac. Our team is experienced in implementation and support of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform suite solutions including ERP, CRM, Power BI analytics, Power Apps with Azure services. OnActuate is a sales integrator for the Ceridian Dayforce HR suite of solutions. Our project implementation services are complemented by our advisory consulting and direct support services.  

Currently in our 9th year of providing these solutions, OnActuate has dedicated sector practices for public sector in North America as well as a focus in retail, manufacturing & distribution and financial services. Our business development team is focused on helping to identify opportunities to enable our customers’ transformation objectives. 

Job Description

Title:  Senior Account Executive - Public Sector 
Type: Permanent, Full-Time 
Reports To: Vice President, Business Development 
Location: Remote, based anywhere in the US. Approximately 25% travel required. 

With strong growth in recent years, OnActuate is looking for a Sr. Account Executive to further support this growth and manage targeted accounts in the public sector. This role has high potential for advancement, and we are looking for a senior-level candidate who has the experience that would allow them to take on more leadership in the near future. If you are a self-motivated individual with experience managing all phases of the pursuit cycle, and a background in managing large accounts for technology services, we encourage you to apply. 

Responsibilities:

  • Grow our target state/provincial and local government market with participation in all phases of the sales of projects to new and existing public sector clients.  
  • Grow project sales opportunities for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform suite and Ceridian HR suite solutions.   
  • Develop, maintain, and grow a profile list of qualified pipeline opportunities that align to our objectives in this sector. 
  • Work closely with the OnActuate team to leverage marketing, inside sales, and other sales resources to manage and execute activities to further build your pipeline. 
  • Clearly and concisely articulate our added value of business system solutions & services 
  • Work collaboratively with our Microsoft and Ceridian partner teams on planning, development and meeting our mutual sales and other strategic goals. 

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Computer Science, or related  
  • Experience in public sector finance and related processes is preferred 
  • 5+ years in selling strategic business application solutions and services as ERP, CRM, BI, other leading enabling technologies 
  • Track-record of success building product line, services practice 
  • A proven team player able to work with partner stakeholders to effectively position our transformative solutions and services 
  • Enjoys the challenge of larger, more complex pursuits while managing team resources effectively  
  • Strongly incentivized by target-based compensation rewards
