Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for two (2) enthusiastic and full of potential Graduate Project Planners to join our Operations Control team, get trained and work on our prospect projects, in MENA region countries.

Role summary:

As a fresh graduate you will get the opportunity to work closely with the Project Controls Engineers through a training rotation, until you are ready to be assigned in one of our winning awards in Middle East/North Africa! Being actively involved in the planning and programming of project activities, will help you gain the capability and experience to kick start your career.

What you will need to do:

  • Participate in the preparation of the Contract Baseline Schedule and / or Revised Schedules in co-ordination with the lead planner and the advice & guidance of the Planning Manager and the project team
  • Assist in the preparation of progress update monitoring sheets for the various project phases and disciplines to allow performing periodic project schedule updates
  • Prepare & update periodically the “Progress Performance Curves & “Key Performance Indicators” in coordination with the lead planner to monitor the project performance
  • Assist in the preparation of daily progress report
  • Liaises and assists the project controls manager in preparing weekly, monthly reports, budget preparation and maintains proper project planning records.

What you will need to have:

  • University degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a well-established university
  • Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language

What it is nice to have:

  • Any relevant trainee international experience in works related to Marine and Offshore, Energy (Power & Water, Oil & Gas), or Infrastructure would be a definite asset
  • Having hands-on experience in MS Project software is considered a plus
  • Good command (written and oral) of French and/or Arabic
