Job Description

  • Manage central shared services platform based on Kubernetes for rapid growth and scale that enable our Engineers to onboard services and deploy code multiple times/day
  • Develop monitoring, define SLAs, SLOs and error budgets for mission-critical platforms while helping coordinate product launches and reliability exercises
  • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested infrastructure code with a focus on reusability and automation (Terraform, Python, etc.)
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for both self-service and onboarding
  • Passion and eagerness to learn different tools, technologies and practices that are needed to get the job done
  • Empathy, readiness to coach, pair with and learn from others

Qualifications

  • 5+ years working as Infrastructure Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer in an Agile environment
  • Experience leading complex infrastructure projects and migrations, continuously improve the reliability of upday engineering as a whole
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and Python
  • Experience setting and reviewing SLOs
  • Expertise in performance testing tools and SRE best practices
