Job Description

Spear Education is looking for a personable and driven video editor/shooter to create high-quality educational and custom videos for web delivery. Our ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, a passion for creating, and a desire to continuously elevate video production standards. 

  • Plan, set up, assist, and execute video productions, including camera operation, lighting, and audio.
  • Provide constructive direction and guidance to on-camera talent to elicit the best possible delivery of their content
  • Collaborate on creative conception, scripting, and storyboards.
  • Develop skillsets with goals that benefit the team and career growth
  • Edit educational, internal, and marketing videos. Arrange, edit, and color correct footage according to departmental standards while maintaining the integrity of the source material.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a video editor or videographer with experience delivering high-quality work 
  • Extensive experience with Premiere Pro and After Effects. 
  • Comfortable guiding on-camera talent that may or may not have experience being on camera.  
  • Studio experience, studio lighting, audio calibration, camera blocking and exposure, studio problem solving, etc.
