At Eurofins we value the key role the Applications Specialist plays in ensuring a fruitful cooperation with our customers. You will use your technical expertise in PCR, qPCR and related molecular techniques to promote and support the implementation of the newly launched and existing portfolio at end customers and channel partners in Nordics.

Job Description

THE FOUR PILLARS OF THE ROLE

I. PRODUCT PRESENTATION TO PROSPECTS

  • Give presentations regarding the technical functionality of the products in front of a selected group or in front of a bigger audience at the prospect customer´s site.
  • Train users on how to apply the kits at the start of the trial period. Teach every step while pointing out the advantages of the product. 

II. NEW CUSTOMER ONBOARDING

  • Onboard new customers.
  • Work together with the customer by following up on the training and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Recognize if you can help the customer to use the products more efficiently, such as improving the SOPs, additional training of technicians, etc.

III. ONGOING TECHNICAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT

  • Help customer to find the cause for technical problems and make sure that the customer can quickly resume normal operations. In some cases, this involves teamwork with Field Engineers and Quality Control.
  • Collaborate with channel partners and make sure they have the technical knowledge to sell the product successfully.
  • Document all customer activities in the customer relationship management system (Zoho CRM).

IV. CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT

  • Identify how the customer´s operations can be further improved by using additional Novatec products.
  • Team-up with the sales team to translate these insights into concrete business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Biology or related field
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge in PCR, qPCR and related molecular techniques
  • Minimum four years of experience in technical, and/or application support
  • ·Fluency in English
  •  Feel comfortable presenting and to articulating product benefits, values, and technical information with customers and co-workers

Additional Information
