We are looking for a Head of Trade Surveillance to join our team in London. In this role, you will ensure our clients optimise the use of the SteelEye platform. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will work with our product, engineering, and sales teams to give the client a high-quality end-to-end and experience.

• Trade Surveillance

• You will be the key point-person, SME, and strategy driver for SteelEye’ s Trade Surveillance product suite

• Write detailed technical business requirements documents, which are fed into development teams for implementation.

• Drive the strategic requirements on how the SteelEye solution can evolve to support full on-exchange order flow, along with MTF trading platforms

• Working with the Engineering team to ensure that algorithms are coded to spec

• Accommodating OTC and Complex derivative products within the SteelEye surveillance solution

• Working with the Product and Integration teams on business-critical client onboarding projects

• Expertise in Market Abuse Regulation

• Experience crafting specifications for Market Abuse Scenarios

• Several years both building and using Trade Surveillance solutions

• To understand, and articulate how Trade Surveillance differs across varying geographic jurisdictions

• Experience working with the client to refine algorithms, understanding their business case, and having this fed back into the Product

• Understanding on how Surveillance alerts should vary across asset class (i.e., know how a Spoofing alert should vary in its thresholds between detecting an FX event, vs. an IRS event)

• In-depth knowledge of financial products and financial markets
