We are looking for a Trade Surveillance Product Manager to join our team in London. In this role, you will ensure our clients optimise the use of the SteelEye platform. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will work with our product, engineering, and sales teams to give the client a high-quality end-to-end and experience.

Job Description

  • When a client subscribes to the SteelEye Surveillance service, educating them on what the algorithms do, and how they apply to their business model

  • Assist our clients' Compliance/ Front Office / Risk Clients’ BAs with their Acceptance Testing pre-production, and PoC’s

  • Being an SME for regulatory knowledge within SteelEye, keeping abreast of the latest disclosures, Q&A’s, and disseminating this knowledge to the Trade Analytics & Integration teams, and the wider company

  • Working within the Product and Integration team acting as a key SME to the business and to clients 

  • Write detailed technical business requirements documents, which are fed into development teams for implementation.

  • Participate in industry working-groups and events to ensure our tools are staying ahead of the deadlines and aligned with trends and the expectations with regard to control and oversight.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytics experience with an understanding of the front-office

  • Expertise in Market Abuse Regulation

  • Experience crafting specifications for Market Abuse Scenarios

  • Several years both building and using Trade Surveillance solutions

  • Experience working with clients to refine algorithms, understanding their business case, and have this fed back into the Product

  • Understanding on how Surveillance alerts should vary across asset class (i.e., know how a Spoofing alert should vary in its thresholds between detecting an FX event, vs. an IRS event)

  • In-depth knowledge of financial products, and financial markets
