Job Description

We are constantly growing, and we are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Procurement Intern to join our top qualified and knowledgeable Procurement team in our Athens Office for indirect material services and sub-contracts.

 Role Summary:                

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in construction industry in the field of Supply Chain.

What you will need to do:

  • Support the procurement needs of the organization placed by the Department via ERP
  • Support to document the forecast demand - evaluate inventory levels
  • Support the process of negotiation with vendors to get the best possible commercial terms.
  • Support the initiation of RFQ’s, comparison of offers, award, and administration/expediting of project supply, services, and subcontracts to suppliers-subcontractors and service providers
  • Support the identification of areas for potential cost reduction and analysis of the impact of pricing changes for goods -subcontracts and services
  • Support routine vendor business reviews, and evaluation of vendor performance and compliance

What you will need to have:

  • Undergraduate student in Engineering, Logistics, Finance or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Fluency in English

What it is nice to have:  

  • Previous experience in construction industry in buildings projects or renewable energy projects
