Reporting to the Customer Support Divisional Director, you will head a team of 10 colleagues in Sales & System Support, dedicated to designing expansions and upgrades for our customers’ current systems. We work with a wide range of different technologies from conveyor belts with PLC software, electrical installation and barcode scanners to complex software solutions and server set-ups to enable automation, larger capacity and many other needs our clients may have.

Translate customer needs into the right solutions
In Sales & System Support, we are dedicated to translating the customers´ needs into the right solutions and is working closely with group companies across the globe as well as the project execution department, as they analyze needs and specifications to draft the right solution and implementation plan for each customer.

Set the direction for your team
You will spend your time leading and setting the direction for the Sales & System Support team . Your tasks will include:

  • Daily dialogue with your team, including sparring and follow-up on ongoing projects
  • Responsible for budget planning, development dialogues, salary reviews etc.
  •  Globally responsible for Sales & System Support in Customer Support
  • Part of the Customer Support CoC leadership team
  • Process development and optimisation as well as resource planning and monthly reporting
  • Supporting our business segments and internal departments
  • Close collaboration with colleagues in Beckum as well as Group Companies


Leadership experience and commercial knowhow
Heading a team of specialists with knowledge of all technical aspects of our systems, it is important that you have experience in leading a technical team and have a strong commercial understanding. As you will lead a team with both commercial and technical responsibility, it is an advantage that you have prior experience with interfaces to both sales and engineering. On a personal level you have a structured approach to your work and can think outside of the box when it´s necessary – moreover you are a person that eyes the opportunities rather than the limitations. You support your team in making the right solutions and the decisions and are not afraid of standing up for the decisions afterwards. Moreover, we imagine that:

  • You have some years of leadership experience – preferably from a similar or related industry managing a technical team
  • You have experience from an international environment with global stakeholders
  • You have a technical background, e.g. in marine/mechanical/electrical/software? engineering
  • You have a strong commercial understanding – maybe even experience with sales and proposals
  • You have strong communication skills and can interact with a wide range of different stakeholders
  • You are motivated to become part of a family-owned business, where our leadership principals are an important foundation
  • You speak and write English effortlessly – a second language is a plus
