Job Description

Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the School of Engineering and Digital
Sciences invites outstanding individuals to join the department as Post-
Doctoral Researcher in the following areas:
1. Structural Engineering (Structural Mechanics, Steel Structures, etc.)
2. Geotechnical Engineering (Computational Geomechanics, Geohazard Assessment and
Mitigation)

Qualifications

Applicants should possess an earned PhD degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field from a reputable university and have at least one earned degree at any level in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program or provide evidence of teaching coursework at an ABET accredited program. A sustained and successful track record of attaining research or commercial funding and publications in internationally recognized quality journals and conferences associated with high scopus h-index are essential. Applicants with commitment to professional activities, professional engineering registration, knowledge of the practice of civil engineering and potential to establish an externally funded research program are highly desirable.
