In Software Products, we build generic products with a continuous focus on maintainability, quality and user value. We strive to deliver products that are suitable for both standard solutions and for project solutions making customer specific configurations and adjustments.

You will join a cross-functional team with a mix of frontend and full-stack developers, a software architect, a UX designer and a test engineer, all eager to welcome you on board. Through self-organization, the team responsibly masters the entire software development life cycle, from conception to deployment and support for operational tasks.

Develop a web-based and wide-ranging platform
As our new full-stack software developer, you will be an integral part of shaping our team going forward – in terms of both our professional direction and our culture. Moreover, BEUMER Group provides you with flourishing career opportunities and continuous knowledgebase growth.

Your overall task will be working on our web-based platform and its underlying services. This will bring you a varied workday as developer of both front-end and back-end software, where currently present tasks worth mentioning are:

• Angular SPA maintenance/development
• Angular performance optimization
• Cyber Security improvements (C# mostly)
• Containerization + porting to .Net 5+ (C#)

Most importantly, you have a passion for front-end and back-end development, a childlike curiosity and an ability to learn new things. Even though you have a high level of technical expertise, you are always ready to jump at the opportunity to develop your skills.

To thrive in this position, you use your good collaboration skills and ability to navigate different cultural contexts as well as your result- and customer-focused attitude.

The ideal candidate will have an academic degree in IT (minimum bachelor’s degree) combined with 1-2 years of hands-on experience with:

• Front-end development in Angular and HTML5
• Back-end development in C# and .NET 5+
• CI/CD concepts, e.g. automating tests for front-end and back-end

Additionally, it would be beneficial, if you knew your way around:

• Containerization, e.g. Docker and Kubernetes
• Cyber Security
• SCADA
• Git/GitLab
