Job Description

Responsible for the design and implementation of agile-innovative Javascript microservice and front-end solutions that take advantage of technology advances that allow cost reduction, standardization, and commoditization.

  • Provide Platform-as-a-Service offerings that are easy to consume, scalable, secure, and reliable using open source-based Cloud solutions for Big Data technologies
  • Collaborate with various teams to build and maintain the most innovative, reliable, secure, and cost-effective distributed solutions. 
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to the Engineering and Operations team during and after deployment.
  • Work with geographically distributed teams on technical challenges and process improvements.
  • Drive the adoption of open standard toolsets to reduce complexity and support operational goals for increasing automation across the enterprise.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 3 years of work experience with a Masters in Computer Science or related field
  • Extensive hands on design/coding experience/skills using languages like Java, C/C++, Python, Golang or Javascript. Strong on elegant coding, can write very solid prototypes or core components quickly.
  • Deep experience in React, Angular, Flexbox, Redux, Express Javascript frameworks for both Javascript-based micro-services and front-end framework development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building drag-and-drop interfaces for building web-based tools from the ground up is a plus.
  • Payment industry experience is a plus.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
