After closing a $15 million Series A funding round, we are kicking off 2022 in full force! The team is growing fast and all team members will play a key role in helping the company reach its ambitious goals.

As a DevOps Team Lead, you will lead a team of 3 talented DevOps, being responsible for innovating our local, hosted, and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on role but with a high degree of collaboration to raise the maturity levels of the Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines. Jscrambler already has a lot of good practices in place, but you will lead us to the next level with the DevOps team, in areas like Redundancy, High Availability, and Failover!

What will your day-to-day be like?

• Lead and manage the DevOps team, which will include appraisals, 1-1 meetings, identifying training needs, motivating, and performance managing the team.

• Develop and mentor team members to perform at their best.

• Take ownership of the infrastructure (local, hosted, and cloud).

• Design and architect solutions for our new initiatives, taking into account scalability, redundancy, and failover.

• Guarantee availability and security of the environment.

• Define and Improve tools and processes to enable seamless Continuous Integration.

• Keep up to date with the latest technologies and tools and drive consistent standards and approaches throughout the team.

• A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

• 5+ years experience in similar functions.

• Experience leading by example, so you are a senior-level DevOps with strong and successful technical lead experience.

• Experience in the following areas of expertise is valued:

  • Server/service provisioning tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform).

  • Linux Containers (e.g. Docker), container clustering (e.g. Kubernetes), and container management platforms (e.g. Rancher).

  • Network and Firewall Management (e.g. iptables).

  • Continuous integration services (e.g. GitLab CI).

  • Monitoring with Elasticsearch Stack, FluentBit, and Graylog.

  • Metrics with Prometheus ecosystem, CAdvisor, and Netdata.
