Job Description

POSITION DETAILS

Job Location: Takoradi, Ghana

Working Hours: 40 hours/week

Reports to: Director of Operations

Salary: Commensurate with qualification and experience

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Head of Recruitment manages all recruitment procedures in AmaliTech Ghana Limited. S/he will be required to create and implement recruitment strategies for different training programmes, especially AmaliTech’s flagship Graduate Trainee Programme as well as specific recruitment strategies for different internal positions.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing the recruitment process in full, from registering a vacancy to the arrival of the successful candidate.

You will also facilitate negotiations between the Company and candidate with regard to salaries and other conditions of employment

Designing and running recruitment campaigns

Organising job and career fairs in universities to attract suitable candidates for various roles being recruited for

Ensure recruitment processes are in line with AmaliTech’s Standard Operating Procedures for recruitment and local employment laws.

Responsible for ensuring new hires settle into the AmaliTech work environment without any challenges through a rigorous onboarding process.

Perform any other duties as may be assigned by superior from time to time

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position preferably in a multinational IT company, academic institution or training academy

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to motivate and lead small to large teams
  • A project management qualification or experience is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize, good time management skills
  • Creative problem solver with apt decision making skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suite applications and the ability to quickly learn and use new software
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills and very fluent in English Language
