Job Description

 

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and to deliver solutions
  • Communicate, work closely with other team members and business stakeholders
  • Maintain release process within the Department
  • Actively promoting the use of the change and release policy and process Department wide
  • Continuously improve change and release processes, procedures and communication and delivery of Department services

Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years’ experience in IT and intermediate English level
  • Experience of working as Release engineer/DevOps engineer/System Administrator/Technical Project Manager
  • Experience being on an Agile team (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and delivering work as part of that team
  • Understanding the SDLC and relationship to Change Management and Release Management
  • Troubleshooting skills and willingness to automate routine tasks
  • Strong Linux background (CentOS, RHEL would be excellent)
  • Experience with Bash scripting.
  • Git user
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI);
  • Basic knowledge of openssl tool
  • Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker);
  • Basic knowledge of web servers (Nginx, Apache, Tomcat)
  • Basic concepts of monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana)
  • Desire to learn and develop

Would be a plus:

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience in container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Helm)
  • Experience in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
