Koi Tū: The Centre for Informed Futures was established in 2019 as an independent and nonpartisan think tank and research centre based at the University of Auckland, with associate members across New Zealand and internationally. We undertake transdisciplinary research and analysis to address critical long-term national and global challenges arising from rapid and far-reaching social, economic, technological and environmental change.

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

We are seeking a Research Assistant on a 2-year fixed-term appointment. You will undertake literature reviews and write synthesis reports, primarily in the field of human development and wellbeing. The work will focus on specific areas of health, medicine and social wellbeing, but may also extend to other areas of Koi Tū’s activities. You will also provide support for website management.

He kōrero mōu | About you

You will have experience in conducting and writing literature reviews using the research and writing skills you have gained from your postgraduate degree in public health, public policy or a related discipline. You will enjoy synthesising written material from a variety of disciplines, and, importantly, excel at finding information from both the scientific and grey literature. You’ll be passionate about making an impact on maternal and child health, and strengthening links with the policy and provider communities. There is scope to work remotely some of the time, and working hours are flexible.
