Your responsibilities and tasks will include

• Holistic product development of machine applications including a high degree of software and automation.
• Project management of international and interdisciplinary development teams, as well as with external development partners.
• Management and development of your own team consisting 4-6 people.
• Responsibility for specification, budget, planning, time and product design, as well as ensuring technical standards and their implementation
• Stakeholder management and R&D process fulfillment.

With a steady growth of the logistics business area, we endeavour to create innovative solutions in an agile way with a high degree of collaboration with our R&D colleagues located in Germany.

People and project management
You will be responsible for the people management of your team, focusing on development of robotics, sorting applications, PLC and pc-level development as well as embedded applications. You will be the local R&D responsible within logistic.

Moreover, you manage projects with a cross functions dimension. This include collaboration with sales, supply chain, QA, Service and to some extend customers.

Your aim will be to constantly develop your team while focusing on holistic product development of the machine applications. We work with technologies such as:

• Fanuc, Kuka, Schneider robotics or similar
• AGV and AMR units.
• Lidar, Trajectory, AI, SLAM
• Siemens TIA/Simatic S7
• Schneider, PackDrive, EcoStruxure or Robot Motion
• OPC, ProfiNet and PackML
• iPC, GPU and Object-oriented programming, e.g. Python, C# and C++

• You hold a degree within computer science, information technology, electrical or mechatronics engineering combined with profound knowledge of software.
• You have some years of experience from a software developer position.
• Maybe you have knowledge of logistics solutions and/or material handling
• You may have had your first experience as a leader, but this might also be your first assignment, managing your own team
• It is an advantage if you have knowledge in the field of sensors, actuators and industrial communication
• You are prepared to travel 20-40 days per year to Beckum, Germany, to collaborate with R&D
