Salary: £34k rising to £35k after 6 months with the opportunity of earning £38k

Working on our brand-new flagship contract, we are supporting the Victims’ Payment Board (VPB) in delivery of the clinical assessment service for the new Troubles Permanent Disablement Payment Scheme.  We are now recruiting for experienced nurses & allied health professionals who have expertise in a mental health or psychiatric background with more than two years’ post registration experience.

As a Clinical Assessor, you will deliver an important service completing clinical assessments of applicants who have a permanent disablement (physically or psychologically) as a result of being at, or attending immediately after a troubles related incident. Following assessment, you’ll produce a structured assessment report which will form part of the wider evidence considered by the VPB in making decisions on entitlement to a payment under the scheme.

Based mainly from home, you will manage your own portfolio of cases, assessing clients in their homes, in one of our clinics or remotely via telephone/virtual assessments.

We are committed to providing a great employee experience in a supportive and engaging environment. The benefits you can expect to enjoy include:

  • a generous holiday entitlement

  • a competitive money purchase pension scheme

  • life assurance

  • annual professional registration fees and all travel expenses reimbursed

You’ll benefit from excellent career, learning and development opportunities we have created to ensure that you grow to achieve your full potential.

We are creating a diverse and inclusive working environment where every employee, regardless of their background or lived experience, feels that they belong and can progress in their career.

We are Disability Confident Leaders, we support the guaranteed interview scheme and use of the government’s Access to Work scheme.

Living our values, we are keen to reflect the diversity of UK society at every level within our organisation; we welcome applications from all sections of the community and if you have accessibility requirements and would like information in a different format, please let us know by emailing [email protected] to make alternative arrangements.

If you feel you have the necessary skills, passion and experience then we would love to hear from you. Please contact Michael on 07858 424617.
