We are looking for a competent Mechanical Project Assistant for our Customer Support Engineering, to be part of a team working on international projects within logistic systems and Airport projects. With reference to Head of Customer Support Project Engineering, and in close cooperation with the project team, you will be responsible for preparing system layouts that comply with our internal design rules and which ensure that the mechanical installation fits the physical framework of the system.  

The job 
Your primary tasks will be to: 

  • control and carry out the preparation of system layouts in AutoCad
  • print and initiate parts lists for own supplies
  • elaborate and complete mounting instructions and drawings
  • support the installation team with drawings and technical support
  • communicate with internal and external suppliers regarding layout
  • coordinate and integrate sub-suppliers’ design and interfaces of steel supplies, platforms and conveyors in the overall lay-out
  • Check design according to Design-rules and according to CE/current legislation for safety
  • cooperate internally with other departments regarding project requirements and specifications
  • follow-up on internal supplies/milestones in the production  

The travel activity is limited, but you will need to travel onsite when needed.

Qualifications  
We imagine that you have a background as technical designer, technical assistant or similar and have some project experience. Our systems are often very complex, and you must therefore be very 3D-minded and have experience with AutoCad 3D, Navisworks and preferably have experience working with documentation in hard copies. You write and speak English, a second foreign language is an asset.  Personally you are dedicated, have a sharp overview, but at the same time focused on the detail. Furthermore we value independence, ability to seek information, when needed and flexibility.
