Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Support project directors and managers throughout the firm’s entire project management cycle (planning, timelines, budgeting, follow-up, etc.)
  • Monitor project health indicators (e.g. cost performance index, margin variations) and reporting issues, gaps and risks throughout the project
  • Ensure data quality in customer relationship management (CRM) and project management (ERP, Microsoft Dynamics) systems   
  • Monitor gaps in budget, quality, timing and scope
  • Develop action plans as needed to correct gaps and mitigate risks
  • Support monthly billing for various projects and follow-up with internal accounting and client services
  • Validate contract compliance with different stakeholders
  • Contribute to internal training on best project management practices by promoting participation and ensuring their effectiveness

What you need

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field;
  • A postgraduate degree in project management (an asset);
  • PMP certification ;
  • 7 to 10 years of project management experience ;
  • Experience in design, architecture, engineering or construction ;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel and MS Project) ;
  • Ability to simplify concepts, employ diplomacy and build strong relationships ;
  • Excellent client service, listening and analytical skills, and tolerance for the unexpected ;
  • French and English bilingualism, both oral and written
