Agency Description

Philly311 is the City of Philadelphia’s non-emergency contact center. Philly311 answers customer questions about city government, supports requests for service for most city agencies, and processes approximately 1.2 million customer interactions per year. The center is open from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday – Friday. During declared emergencies, the center’s hours may be extended. Customers can submit inquiries or request for service 27/7 using web and mobile applications.

Job Description

Exempt Covid Data and Reporting Analyst Temporary- The analyst will be assigned to support the new COVID 19 reporting initiatives. The new hire would be responsible to gather, analyze, validate, specify, verify, report and manage various stakeholders. The analyst serves as the conduit between the 311 Contact Center and various stakeholders within the City of Philadelphia and in this case would be working on dashboarding, customer reporting, and call center metrics around COVID-19.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration or related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, in an interpretation, reporting and data processing capacity, in a call center setting
  • Previous data work or experience required
  • CRM experience

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data, summarize issues, and think outside the box.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Ability to articulate complex concepts simply.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, heavy reporting, modeling experience.
  • Organized with strong emphasis on time management and prioritization. Attention to detail a must.
  • Highly motivated and dedicated team player with natural curiosity and the capacity to work effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks
  • Proven strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills within and outside of the department
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage time and multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to be assertive and make decisions

Additional Information

Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000
