Our Business Intelligence & Customer Relationship Management Team is providing personalized & intelligent recommendations, product sorting as well as mailing- and push notifications to our customers, based on their historical consuming behaviour. We work with over 5 million real-time API calls per hour and a huge amount of data to provide the best shopping experience for our customers!

Join our Business Intelligence and CRM Team onsite in Hamburg or remote within Germany and successfully contribute to the upcoming challenges as an experienced and passionate Lead Node.js Developer.

What you will do

• Build CRM Tool based on NodeJS with TypeScript
• Handling big amounts of data in MySQL and Google BigQuery
• Lead a development team of 3 - 5 developers and always act as a good example regarding coding standards and code reviews
• Work closely together with other experienced developers, product managers, QAs and analysts to improve existing and ship new features
• Draft architectural decisions together with our Tech Lead and explore new technologies & approaches
• Shape team processes by regular agile retrospectives
• Have direct impact on business growth &  revenue

Who you are

• Previous working experience in building complex applications on both backend and frontend ( 5+ years)
• Feel comfortable with people management topics and ideally have worked in a leading role in a fast-changing environment before
• Very good MVP-focused coding skills in JS & TypeScript
• Practical & recent experience with React, VueJs, Angular or similar frontend frameworks
• Solid know-how in working with relational databases
• Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Very good written and spoken English skills with experience in an English speaking environment

Nice to have:

• Previous work experience in the AWS ecosystem
• Experience with React & Mobx
