The ExB Group is active in AI research and software development and employs more than 60 researchers, developers and designers in Munich and Leipzig. As one of the pioneers in cognitive computing, we specialize in adaptive software for large-scale processing and analysis of unstructured and structured text and image data.

Our goal is to create the ultimate "Verstehmaschine": a cognitive system that sets new standards in machine learning and opens up new perspectives for many industries in automated knowledge and document processing.

As Product Owner you take responsibility for the quality of our product and thus the product success. You work closely with our agile international teams consisting of developers, researchers and users experience designers together.

In the past years ExB has developed a complete solution for language and image processing. It is based on the most modern techniques of the Deep Learning, Unsupervised Learning, academic and industrial standards.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the development of a common product vision and communication of clearly defined objectives
• Furthermore, you have insight into the development roadmap and prioritize its milestones in close dialog with the CTO
• You are able to translate complex customer requirements into operational feature specifications and predict the required workload
• You continuously maintain the Product Backlog – transparently, clearly and goal-oriented – and keep our business values in mind
• In the long run, your transparent communication of development progress lead to a higher identification of the agile teams with the product

• You have an IT technical background and at least 2 years of experience as a product owner or product manager, for example in the area of AI or complex IT systems
• Ready to learn, open-minded and curious as you are, you can no longer wait to work with the future technologies like Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
• You have an agile mindset and experience in applying the agile approach (e.g. Scrum)
• Due to your very strong language skills in German and English you will work smoothly in an international team
• Entrepreneurial drive, proactivity and independence round up your profile
