We’re hiring an experienced PHP Developer on behalf of a client who isn’t Facebook, but is no small fish in the Tech world. Their websites handle a huge load of traffic, which means you’ll need the right skills and experience to handle the pressure. As a senior developer, you’ll play a key role defining the architecture and design of multiple web properties, and contribute to the overall tech decisions which help the team achieve their goals. You’ll also train and coach others as the team continues to grow. 

You’ll be a senior team member, working on complex programming projects, using advanced web services and technologies. You’ll introduce new technologies, monitor and improve the resource usage and overall site performance, analyze product requirements, and translate to design specifications. 

You’ll be ideal for this role if you’ve got significant experience of web PHP programming. With expert skills in OOP, design patterns and data structures. 

You’re comfortable with at least one of the following tools - Laravel, Redis, Elasticsearch, Docker, or Composer. Experience working with caching and message queues is helpful too. Ideally, you’ll have worked with a LAMP or LEMP stack, in an Agile environment.

The role is based in Bucharest, currently working remotely. English language fluency is essential.
