Job Description

Who we are looking for:

Optiv Security Operations is looking for a senior-level security engineer with expertise in privileged access management and identity governance methodologies, best practices, and technologies. The Senior Security Engineer is responsible for maintaining, administering, and supporting privileged access and identity governance solutions on behalf of Optiv’s clients, as well as ensuring that the security controls function as designed and in accordance with client specifications and industry standards. Additionally, the successful candidate will be act as an escalation point for junior members Managed IAM team, interface directly with client technical resources and senior leadership as primary technical point of contact, and lead efforts to architect, implement, and assist in the evaluation of proof-of-concept environments for new technologies.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Serve as an experienced technical resource for the team and customers in deployment, maintenance, and break/fix resolution of various technologies including, but not limited to:
    • CyberArk CorePAS
    • CyberArk Privilege Cloud
    • SailPoint IdentityNow
    • SailPoint Identity IQ
  • Perform discovery audits and work with clients to develop certification and compliance campaigns and reporting
  • Collect logs, analyze failure situations, troubleshoot issues and implement known solutions while maintaining established OLAs/SLAs.
  • Document incident resolutions, RCA/RFOs, and SOPs, design specifications, and reference architectures as needed
  • Perform critical and high-touch infrastructure and platform changes including HA/DR clustering of VMs, implementing security patching and version upgrades, implementing new application connectors, multifactor authentication methods, etc.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience implementing, administering, and support privileged access and identity governance technologies and related infrastructure
  • 3+ years’ experience querying and binding objects in LDAP
  • 3+ years’ experience administering Active Directory objects, architecture, and back-end infrastructure
  • CCT-level familiarity with network devices and architecture
  • CISSP/CEH-level understanding of security methodologies pertaining to user access, authentication, and authorization
  • Windows Server OS installation, configuration, and deployment (MCSE and/or MS Azure certifications a plus)
  • Ability to administer Unix/Linux-based systems from a remote command line interface
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and analyzing data (Analyzing Error Logs)
  • 3+ years’ proficiency with database querying languages and methods (SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Web 2.0 data parsing methods and protocols (REST, SOAP, OpenAPI, XML, JSON, etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience (at least two years working with enterprise production code) in applicable scripting languages (Powershell, Beanshell, Javascript, Python, etc.)
  • Must possess or be able to obtain CyberArk Certified Deliver Engineer (CDE) and SailPoint Certified Engineer certifications on hire
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant industry certifications highly desired (e.g. CISSP, CEH, CHFI, SSCP, CCSP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with ITIL , SDLC, and DevOps procedures and best practices (ITIL certifications a plus)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
