Sales Market Tender Specialist (F/M)

Focus: Governmental boat & davit tenders

The sales tender specialist is overall responsible to support the Segment Sales Director on monitoring, coordinating and preparation of Governmental boat & davit tenders, by translating customer requirements and market trends towards Palfinger Marine internal departments for securing future revenue growth and ensuring innovative product development.

Job Description

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Governmental & Professional market trend and tender analyses
  • Develop and grow the Governmental & Professional Segment and product portfolio
  • Analyze and prepare segment request for quotations, by translating the client specific requirements into the organization
  • Verification of tender requirements versus provided technical data, drawings, equipment specifications and cost overview from various departments, to prepare detailed tender cost calculations
  • Ensure accurate, on time and compliant commercial & technical tender bids
  • Prepare project handover documentation when tender is awarded, for efficient kick-off meeting with involved departments
  • Periodically monitor order status with Project Management and relevant internal departments
  • Translate customer and market demands towards PLM, Engineering & Procurement for continuous product development and innovation
  • Analyze competition

Qualifications

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent English (business communication), both in writing and speaking, plus local language(s)
  • Minimum 5 years Technical Sales and/or Project Support in the Marine Market
  • Professional experience with InforLN system
  • Internal and customer oriented approach
  • Willing to travel abroad (optional)
