Job Description

We're looking for an energetic and creative growth marketer to help us achieve the next level of growth. This individual will work closely with our founders and other team members to build awareness of our brand and products, sign up new users, convert users to paying customers, maintain strong retention rates, and create customer evangelists.

Principal responsibilities are to:

  • Drive new customer acquisition through a systematic and relentless focus on improving AARRR (Acquisition, Activation, Revenue, Retention, and Referral) metrics
  • Lead our social media efforts on key channels (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube), including building brand recognition, increasing the size of the company's audience of followers, and generating new leads
  • Maintain our website to promote the brand, increase traffic, generate leads, and drive conversions
  • Design and execute e-mail and digital marketing campaigns
  • Develop new marketing initiatives to increase performance on AARRR metrics
  • Work with product development on prioritizing product road map items to increase performance on AARRR metrics
  • Work with sales to optimize the volume and quality of leads 
  • Conduct A/B testing and other data-driven techniques to assess key messages, calls to action, and promotions
  • Collect and analyze traffic and usage metrics across our websites, social media channels, and product to determine effectiveness and assist in prioritizing key activities

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5-8 years of professional experience in marketing, with education technology experience preferred
  • Understanding of CRM and online content management tools and principles (e.g., HubSpot, WordPress)
  • Experience with programmatic and social media ad platforms, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEO/SEM, e-mail marketing, and marketing automation
  • E-commerce and/or B2C experience a plus

  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand educators’ needs and to relate to student support issues
  • Digital native with an intuitive understanding of technology
  • Flexibility, adaptability, positivity, and good humor
  • Strong ambition, great attitude, outstanding work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and absolute integrity
  • Confidence with sales prospects and engaging in conversation with new people
  • Good sense of design
  • A self-starter, but with a willingness to ask for help
  • Ability to work from home while interacting in a professional manner with prospects, customers, and colleagues

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • HubSpot certification(s) desirable
  • Training in growth hacking and/or product-led growth strategies preferred
  • Google Ads certification and/or Google Analytics certification preferred
