What we’re looking for

We are looking for an engineering manager who is motivated to guide, support and coach our engineers to make decisions within our teams. Thanks to your technical experience, you will help engineering teams learn new skills and choose the right tools and technologies to solve their product challenges. You will contribute your and your team's expertise in our technology vision.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage and grow high-performing inclusive teams (approx. 10 direct reports)
  • Create growth plans for engineers and coach them to further develop technical and people skills
  • Bring context and data to teams to help them understand the direction the company is taking
  • Contribute to our technology strategy and help engineers make decisions in line with it
  • Communicate about your teams’ learnings and achievements to the rest of the organisation
  • Lead technical projects to be done next to product development.
  • Join a team of engineering managers that love learning and sharing knowledge
  • Participate in the Product, Technology and UX leadership group to learn together and improve our environment. For example, join task forces to define guidelines about remote working or cross-team collaboration.

How we are organized:

Our Product, Technology and UX department currently consists of 4 tracks and approximately 100 professionals, from all over the world: Brazil, Canada, India, France, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, The Netherlands, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Turkey, the UK, and the USA. Each track focuses on a slice of the user journey: you will be part of the Consumer Matching track. Within the tracks, multidisciplinary product development teams collaborate on achieving the goals that they set and commit to each quarter. We approach our decisions in an experiment-guided and agile way: we validate new directions using a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Special note related to COVID-19

We will be onboarding remotely. Until the government (RIVM) is no longer advising us to work from home, we will be working remotely. We will do our best to make the onboarding as smooth as possible and help you get up-to-speed.
