Data Distribution & Integration will be part of the IKEA Product Information Management programme (IPIM) in IKEA of Sweden. We will develop a new global service for data exchange both inside the IKEA franchisor IT landscape and to franchisee IT landscapes, enabling a structured exchange of data across the whole IKEA value chain.

We are currently looking for 5 Solution Architects for Data Distribution & Integration

Responsible for solution architecture for integrations inside and across different IT landscapes.

• Understand the architecture roadmap for the Data Distribution & Integration area, and its’ part of the overall roadmap for IKEA, by being an active member of the architecture community at Inter IKEA.
• Work closely with high level design input from our IT Architect and our Data Architect.
• Develop the solution design for your own area in close collaboration with your fellow solution architects.
• Communicate and ask for feedback on your low level solution design with our Product Owner, Delivery Lead and Lead Developers
• Hands on support to your colleagues in the DevOps team to overcome development issues in an agile development environment.

To be successful in this role you need to:

• Have solid knowledge and experience of designing and developing solution architecture for integrations.
• Have knowledge and experience of working in and with a software development team.
• Have solid knowledge and experience in key aspects of IT software development process, including integration across solutions and IT landscapes.
• Have knowledge and experience in working in an agile DevOps approach.
• Have knowledge in cloud computing services and micro service architecture
• Have a genuine interest in people and a strong ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders
• Be able to perform on a strategic, tactical and operational level
• Be curious, eager to find better ways and committed to remove manual work whenever possible
