Job Description

We are seeking an associate attorney with two years of experience with business immigration, including a strong understanding of the PERM labor certification process and how it is applied to corporate clientele. You will be working with a talented group of immigration attorneys in the New York office of our close-knit, bi-coastal and full-service commercial law firm. You are a self-starter with a keen sense of responsibility, and you work effectively in groups, going the extra mile to help your colleagues, while also marketing and developing yourself professionally. If you have these characteristics, including relevant experience, a good academic background, and excellent interpersonal skills, your career progression will be complemented at Gibney by a collegial work environment, a competitive compensation package, and other benefits.

  • 1+ years of experience in drafting and managing all phases of the PERM process required
  • Business immigration experience with NIV applications (including H-1B, L-1, TN and E-3), and IV applications (including I-140, AOS)

This position requires a J.D. and bar admission to practice in at least one U.S. state.
