Job Description

Would you like to play a key role in Lemay's Finance team by assisting our corporate controller? Support the firm's projects through budgetary analysis and monitoring? Would you like to help optimize and implement financial and accounting processes? You could be the person we need.

What you will accomplish with us

  • Contribute to the optimization and deployment of internal accounting and administrative processes;
  • Participate in budgetary monitoring and project profitability analyses;
  • Contribute to the production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in collaboration with other members of the Finance team;
  • Perform regular accounting reconciliations and analyses;
  • Participate in annual audit;
  • Contribute to budgeting and annual forecasting;
  • Analyze variances and propose solutions;
  • Develop and track financial performance indicators;
  • Contribute to special projects;
  • Assist the controller with corporate deliverables.

What you need

  • University degree in accounting;
  • Chartered professional accountant certification;
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in process review;
  • Experience in a professional services firm (an asset);
  • Experience with ERP principles;
  • Analytical skills and precision;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and proactive approach;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
  • Command of Microsoft Office suite;
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, both oral and written.
