We are looking for an Automation Engineer to help team’s ship software faster, without compromising on quality. Made possible by harnessing the power of automation and continuous delivery, creating end-to-end pipelines that can orchestrate the appropriate build, environment provisioning, deployment, and rigorous automated testing of software. The team is positioned horizontally across product aligned teams with responsibilities that span web, mobile, API and systems software.

Competence

• An experienced Automation Engineer, DevOps Engineer or a Developer who can talk automation tools and techniques and be a sounding board for shaping automation at AJ Bell. 

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and git – build, test, and deploy in an automated pipeline or workflow - required
• Understands the importance of quality and test automation within delivery pipelines – static, unit, security, integration, E2E
• Experience with Cloud technologies
• Understands operating systems especially Linux
• Understands Unix Command Line, Bash
• Experience with container creation and management
• Understands importance of application performance and automated performance testing
