• Field evaluations of electrical equipment to determine compliance with product safety standards.
• Surveillance inspections of factories to assure products remain in compliance with conditions of granted certification.

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Experience in the product safety field is a plus
• Candidates possessing a background in maintenance and installation of electrical equipment including heavy commercial and industrial workplace equipment will be considered

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience assessing electrical equipment for compliance to US safety standards and US electrical installations.
• Experience with the National Electrical Code (NEC – NFPA 70).
• Two-year college degree-technical discipline or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full -time Monday - Friday 8am -5pm with additional hours as workload requires.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Baltimore, MD are encouraged to apply.
