Job Description

The New Graduate Development Rotation Program (NGDP) is an 18-month program with three - six month rotations through Visa’s functions. The NGDP program supports Visa’s mission to build a strong entry level pipeline of talent with cross-functional knowledge and experience. Associates rotate through three functions of the business, including but not limited to: Business Development, Marketing, Product, Client Services, Merchant Sales & Acquiring, and Digital Solutions. In addition to meaningful rotations, Associates are given training & development, mentoring, networking and leadership exposure.

Business Development

Everyone at Visa works with one goal in mind – making sure that Visa is the best way to pay and be paid, for everyone everywhere. The business development team drives the country strategy and its objectives by identifying, leading and executing, through analytics, data and market intelligence, on opportunities to drive business growth for Visa and its clients. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the team, assisting with client requests with the purpose to grow Visa share of business.

Some things you might work on during your Business Development rotation include:

  • Provide support to the BD team to develop and maintain the relationship between Visa and the clients
  • Process the new licenses, opening, upgrades, & downgrades of new bins.
  • Understand and implement card design brand standards. Provide urgent support to clients in obtaining waivers on designs.
  • Master the Visa Online functionality and provide support to BD team on how to navigate through the platform.
  • Attend to client queries and issues, and provide timely and efficient solutions
  • Navigate throughout Visa across geographies to ensure a quick turnaround of client & BD requests.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor strategies and contribute to developing/responding to these so that Visa’s market share within the Russian market is enhanced
  • Manage daily tasks such as maintaining and updating clients contact lists, and upload required documents in playbook
  • Ensure clients’ compliance to service levels, integrity of service records and efficient resolution of complaints
  • Support BD team in preparation of presentations/pitches to clients
  • Support internal compliance requirements for the BD team
  • Preparation of regular analysis reports for market and for clients, focusing on portfolio performance and market share, comparison with targets by quarters.

 

Marketing

The Marketing Team in Visa Russia is the center of consumer knowledge in the organization, thus supporting other functions in developing products, offers and other services providing consumer insights and perspectives.

The Marketing Team is also providing marketing support (advertising, promotional activities, sponsorships, co-marketing activities with merchants and events) to Visa products and services. We plan and execute all the marketing activities targeting consumers and businesses. We do this on behalf of Visa and also on behalf of our clients-banks. The scope of work requires very close and strong collaboration with other functions, specifically Business Development, Products, Merchant Sales & Acquiring etc. You will be responsible for execution of several marketing activities on behalf of our clients – banks.

Some things you might work on during your Marketing rotation include:

  • Active participation in liaison with clients in order to better define a marketing activity goals and objectives that would work for both Visa and the client
  • Development of marketing activities briefs for agencies under a supervision of your manager
  • Work with agencies on marketing activities design development, including promo mechanics development, creative idea development, media plans development
  • Active participation in liaison with clients on marketing activities design  - selling a design to clients and/or working on designs fine-tuning based on clients’ comments
  • Execution of approved marketing activities with agencies and other third parties if needed (merchants and other potential strategic partners)
  • Activities effectiveness evaluation
  • Discussion of activities effectiveness and lessons learnt with clients to better plan upcoming activities and improve effectiveness in the future

 

Product

Visa’s Consumer Payments & CVP organization in Russia is a center of excellence for managing and delivering end-to-end payment products and customer value propositions. The team is organized by type of products & solutions to deliver services across the entire value chain. The team manages all credit, debit, and prepaid products as well as local product benefits & platforms.

Some things you might work on during your Product rotation include:

  • Conduct research using multiple data points & resources on next-generation payment topics
  • Synthesize existing materials on various topics such as Credit, Debit, Prepaid, Travel, Cross-border, E-commerce, Affluent segments, Millennials, Digital payments, Omni-channel strategy to help create thought leadership for programs such as Digital CVP, Account Level Management, Prepaid Acceleration and Benefits Customization
  • Create points-of-view on relevant industry trends, methodologies, collection of industry leading practices, and benchmarking of key product performance drivers
  • Develop Knowledge management framework to support the team’s requirements
  • Design internal and external communications for program launches in Russia
  • Develop post program measurement dashboards to create insights and identify future improvement opportunities

 

Client Services:

The global client support group works with locally deployed client service experts to develop and deliver the support model for Visa Inc. issuers, acquirers, processors and merchants worldwide. This includes day-to-day operations and product support, specialized help desks, back office support and customer performance reporting.

Some things you might work on during your CS rotation include:

  • Respond to routine operational service and support inquiries from Visa client institutions.
  • Provide information and direction for customers regarding VisaNet Core Application Services, General Transaction Research, Billing, User ID and similar queries.
  • Perform transaction and process research to analyze potential technical or operational problems or issues.
  • Complete data entry in a timely and accurate manner for assigned client institutions
  • Log service requests plus resolutions in a timely and accurate manner for call or problem tracking and knowledge base software applications.
  • Work with stakeholders within CSS (Client Support Services) and non-CSS organizations to resolve client issues.
  • Be accountable for delivering against commitments to clients.
  • Organized in tasks and activities.
  • Develop process improvement procedures to improve operational efficiency

 

Merchant Sales & Acquiring:

Merchant Sales & Acquiring Team is responsible (but not limited) for the business development with the biggest Groceries, Petrols and Consumer electronics chains. Key target is to build strong working relationships with key Merchants in order to drive VISA acceptance & usage by Co-brand campaigns deployment, innovations etc.

Some things you might work on during your MS&A rotation include:

  • Comprehensive analysis of existing payment products in selected industries (grocery, petrol etc.)
  • E-com analyses: promo mechanics in key sellers, check-out experience,
  • Develop recommendations how to improve Visa payment experience

 

Product – Digital Solutions:

Visa's Digital Solutions Product group is responsible for providing the product platforms required to deliver on Visa’s Digital strategy and goals, with the Visa Token Service (“VTS”) platform the key enabler.  The Solutions Delivery team works with the key ecosystem stakeholders (including issuers, acquirers, and tech partners) to optimize the platform’s performance and enhance the benefits tokens bring to the ecosystem.  The associate will focus on supporting the overall strategy, analysis, and optimization of issuer token implementation, with the opportunity to help drive product adoption. 

Some things you might work on during your Digital Solutions rotation include:

  • Business analytics lead: Build, manage, communicate and drive goals and KPI’s for ecosystem token optimization 
  • Client enablement: Support implementation efforts by creating and managing analytical tools, metrics, trends, dashboards and best practices, and with ad-hoc analysis
  • Strategic initiatives: Own and drive strategic optimization initiatives end-to-end, working cross-functionally across teams towards time-sensitive goals and outcomes.
  • Engage directly with Visa’s issuers and external partners to help further optimize product performance and expand product adoption.
  • Influence Visa data structures and reporting tools for new products and solutions.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently In a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program ( Computer Science, all Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Business/Commerce)
  • Graduate by summer 2020 (Fresh graduates)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent
