Job Description

We are searching for a Talent & HR Manager to setup a People Operations  Department at Jscrambler. You will work with our employees to carry out the daily activities including oversight of recruitment, total compensation, training and development and recruitment branding. You will focus on delivering HR services that meet or exceed the needs of employees and enable business success, while striving to balance a fun but engaged working environment. You must also ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Build out our People Operations Department at our office in Porto
  • Maintain oversight of all personnel functions, including employment services, employee relations, and employee engagement
  • Recruiting and applicant management
  • Work with team leaders and management to design and implement Employer Branding strategies: expansion of web presence, contacting local universities, exhibition at recruiting fairs, etc.
  • Guarantee a systematic and streamlined approach to onboarding, offboarding and career path management
  • Manage HR related activities like team building events, salary processing, vacations and perks management
  • Coach the organization into the Culture we aim for

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management, Legal or similar
  • 3+ years' experience working in similar functions
  • Knowledge of legal compliance and employment laws
  • Experience dealing with contracts is a plus

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Easily create an empathic relation with others
  • Be dynamic, assuming ownership of multiple diverse tasks
  • Must be well organized, detailed oriented, and able to adjust to changing priorities
  • Fluency in English is essential, other languages is a plus
  • Can-do attitude and history of making stuff happen independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work closely with different stakeholders to define key business needs and deliver on commitments

Additional Information

Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory, and already residing in Portugal
