Job Description

Overview Of The Role

This is a critical Executive leadership position in an evolving HR function.  This role will develop and manage the overall global talent acquisition strategy and corresponding tactics for the company. This leader will create understanding and cultivate energy for the company, both internally and externally. Translating that energy among the talent acquisition team and beyond will ensure that the company has access to and is acquiring diverse world-class talent for the expanding business at a pace that exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and impact change management by listening and truly understanding customer needs, then customizing practices and strategies to fit the changing business and provide thought leadership on industry climate.
  • Provide leadership to a global talent acquisition center of excellence located across continents and time zones.
  • Standardize talent acquisition programs and processes in collaboration with business leaders, HR team, and within the center of excellence established for talent acquisition and strategies.
  • Identify talent acquisition trends and implement as appropriate.
  •  Builds talent acquisition and HR reputation through positive interactions with all Business Units and Senior Leadership.
  • Provide leadership and action plans for the development of a comprehensive diversity attraction strategy with the goal of increasing diverse representation.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a data-driven reporting and analytics function that develops an organization-wide Talent Acquisition reporting and analytics strategy.
  • Routinely provide the business with standard hiring metrics, information, predictive trends, skills gaps, and market/business intelligence that would proactively inform their acquisition plans and decisions.
  • Manages relationships with contingent firms, recruiting firms, recruiting resource vendors, etc.
  • Plan and manage Talent Acquisition budget and resources with CHRO.
  • Develop direct reports by inspiring them to realize their strengths and importance to organization while providing them with actionable, timely feedback.
  • Communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role you must have a deep passion for forward-thinking talent acquisition strategies and be able to roll up your sleeves to help execute new ideas across the company's global locations.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, OD, or other degree mixed with deep experience in global talent acquisition
  • 15+ years with a mid-sized to large organization managing a team of Talent Acquisition professionals
  • Significant experience with sourcing, selection and onboarding processes; experience in passive sourcing
  • Experience overseeing talent acquisition strategies, developing impactful metrics, and assessing recruiting tools and processes, including psychometric assessment
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and project management skills required
  • Strong relationship building skills and business acumen
  • Must have strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office Suite as well as various HRIS and Talent Management Systems
  • Strong written communication skills including presentation of reports and ability to articulate data/metrics in a meaningful way
  • Broad knowledge of compensation, learning and development and general HR requirements
  • Mindset of continuous improvement and client service.  High attention to detail, resourceful, and highly organized
  • Ability to travel globally - 25% (approximately – can fluctuate depending on business needs)
