Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Services Manager to contribute to our Ingram Publisher Services (IPS) team in our NYC office.  The Services Manager develops, maintains and grows distribution client relationships.  They work with existing and new IPS publishers to consult and sell ICG publisher-facing products and services including print on demand through LSI, CoreSource, CoreSource Plus, Website Fulfillment, and Analytics.  In addition, this person coordinates and administers the signing of new business agreements for CoreSource and Lightning Source services and supports ICG acquisition services for IPS.  This individual effectively works with internal and external stakeholders to execute publisher projects, develop creative solutions, and meet sales and growth targets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or year-for-year equivalent experience
  • 3 years specific market (book industry) or equivalent experience in sales

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Academic publishing experience
  • Experience working with publishers on financials and budgets

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the client’s overall Ingram business and consults with clients to introduce and/or sell Ingram services to support the client’s specific business needs.
  • Develops and maintains a product level pipeline of potential clients for all publishing services and provides regular progress reports.
  • Participates in and/or conducts regular updates with clients and internal associates to ensure deadlines and time lines are met.
  • Partners with assigned publisher account managers to develop service solutions for client publishers that will grow ICG share of client publishers’ print and digital content available for distribution.
  • Works with ICG Product, IT and Finance teams where appropriate to develop Publisher solutions that will drive revenue and profit.
