Project:
As a part of the Playtech BGT Sports (PBS) Unit which has developed market-leading solutions for the modern sports betting industry, covering all sectors and distribution channels from retail to online products: you will need to develop and maintain a sports-betting mobile product mainly targeted on European markets, together with the Team communicate and provide for a customer optimal technical solutions for an existing roadmap, improve existing code base and develop new modules and components.

Responsibilities:

• Developing Sportsbook web applications in close cooperation with your team colleagues
• Acting as a key technical advisor/mentor to the organization and to others aspiring to the technical path
• Resolving critical issues and broad design matters
• Working closely together with other teams to enable development synergies

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience in development of web applications incl. cross-browser projects mobile and development for mobile devices
• Strong JavaScript, React knowledge, experience with Flux application architecture
• Strong skills in object-oriented development methodology, algorithms and data structures
• Experience in Java development
• HTML5/CSS3
• Module bundlers (webpack)
• Understanding and practical usage of GOF and architecture patterns
• RESTful web services
• Practical knowledge of Design Patterns
• Knowledge of JEE, Java Core and Java Spring technology stack
• Experience working with Maven, Apache Tomcat, Git
• Linux bash programming skills
• Intermediate level of English (both oral and written)

Would be a plus:

• BA/BSC in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with Docker containers (build and deploy)
• Experience with Kubernetes/Cloud foundry
• Detailed understanding of the UI and UX of a web application
