Job Description

Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences invites outstanding individuals to join the department in August 2020 as Postdoctoral Researcher in the areas of Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Smart Manufacturing, Biomechanical Engineering, and Energy Engineering.

You should have committed to excellence in both research and teaching. You must possess an earned PhD degree from a reputable university and are expected to have publications in top ranked journals/conferences in the areas of your expertise. Excellent communication skills and English fluency are required.

The postdoc will largely work independently under the supervision of a faculty member. The applicants are encouraged to contact the respective professors to identify research directions and further details on facilities and infrastructure. Postdoctoral Scholars are also expected to teach one course per academic year relevant to their area of research and/or based on Department’s needs.
