In 2010, we started making sun care products to protect ourselves, our families and our friends from the damaging rays of the sun. Scope

- 500-600 SKUs (FG and RM)
- Position would own one or two ‘brands’ of Sun, Hair, Lip, Baby, Mineral
- Roughly 50 vendors
- Open POs range from 150-500 at any given time
- Rapid growth

Supply Management

Supply Chain
- PO Execution
- Generate PO’s for requested quantities to optimize vendor, SKU, price and timing
- Solicit order acknowledgements for all PO’s issued 
- Proactively communicate if requested Buy quantities are missing price breaks or EOQ 
- Organize to establish clear matrix/understanding of price breaks by quantity (enter price breaks into MRP)
- Where necessary, prepare MO and all related details
- PO/MO management/updates
- Update timing of PO (ex factory dates) in GP (MRP)
- Update PO pricing based on PO acknowledgement from vendor and communicate to finance accordingly 
- Close POs/MOs when deemed complete 
- Facilitate 3 way match process 
- Vendor management/prioritization
- Manages all activities that develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Maintain effective communications for open order management with FG and RM vendors (calls, e-mails, reports, etc.)
- Conduct weekly open order review meetings with all vendors
- Identify potential raw material shortages and timing impacts
- Communicate delivery schedule of Sun Bum provided components
- Collaborative communication/planning with VP Ops where things aren't on track to assess risk level
- Proactively keep FG vendors aware of RM timing
- Understand vendor's needs around forecast/planning information needed from us and communicate accordingly
- Manage materials savings initiatives in line with COG’s plan and overall business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate purchasing metrics - including on-time delivery, quotations in process, inventory turns, receiving 
discrepancies and RTV  
- Inventory management
- Maintain day to day MRP transactions
- Receivers, Transfers, PO updates and closures
- Ensure there's a virtual trail for any physical activities that took place (transfers, product swaps, cannibalization, etc.)
- Communicate any net adjustments with Accounting team
- Periodically reconcile perpetuals with vendors that carry Sun Bum owned inventory
- Establish process with all FG vendors for scrap reporting and write-off as necessary
- Establish reporting mechanism to report against scrap rates
- Partner with Accounting team to keep system clean as business changes (discontinued SKU, obsolete part, BOM change, etc.)
Other Supply Chain Activities
- Help set up BOM and Routing
- Gather all necessary information for new item set up and provide to Accounting
- Vendor, BOM, wholesale, MSRP, costing, weights/dims, case pack, master pack, etc.
