The Company hiring is an established Global Banking Corporation and this position is based in Jersey City, New Jersey

The position is within the Bank Paying & Receiving Department located in Jersey City, NJ and will be responsible for
• processing incoming funds received via CHIPS and FedWire for bank and corporate clients and
• accurate and timely confirmation of funds received.

The position provides accurate and prompt processing of credits to client accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Review all unposted funds and apply to correct account
• Match incoming funds to notices received
• Prepare daily reports for funds not received and unexpected funds
• Respond to emails requesting confirmation of funds
• 5% - Ad-hoc projects - as assigned

• 2 or more years of work experience in bank/back office operations
• Working knowledge of Money Transfer processing
• Working knowledge of Clearing House Interbank Payments System (CHIPS), Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), and FedWire payment systems. Montran experience a preferred not mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to advise receipt of funds with internal departments and external customers

• Well organized and able to adapt to changing work situations with overtime
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Benefits
This is a full-time permanent position. In addition to salary,  the position will offer benefits that are available to all Company employees.

Office is near a PATH Station and other public transportation. A senior operations funds transfer role may offer a salary up to $65,000 - possibly $70,000 with excellent bonus potential.  Must have SWIFT and FedWire experience.
